bacteria and archea differ in

OpenStudy (anonymous):

archaea and bacteria both have ribosomes. their cell walls are different, archaea's being Pseudopeptidoglycan and bacteria being peptidoglycan/lipopolysaccharide. for growth and reproduction, archae reproduce asexually by the process of binary fission, budding and fragmentation, but eubacteria have the unique ability to form spores to remain dormant overthe years, a trait that is not exhibited by archae. as for their habitat, archaea live in extreme and harsh enviroments like hot springs, salt lakes, marshlands, oceans, and gut ruminants and humans. bacteria are found in soil, hot springs, radioactive waste water, earth's crust, organic matter, bodies of plants and animals. hope this helps^^^^
