You will first need to find out what 20% is as a decimal. To do that, you will need to divide 20 by 100, because percents are out of 100. You should get .2. Then you need to find out how much the money was deducted from the original price. Now since you know what 20% is as a decimal, you can multiply \[399\times0.2\] You will subtract that product from the original price of $399. That will be your answer. :D
