Thank you

:)

@BaileeSmith it is against the code of conduct to give out direct answers @glamourglory I can show you the steps, functions are SUPER easy :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

please show me steps

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so since x = -1 all you have to do is plug it into the function like this, f(x)= 3 x -1 - 2 see? it's that simple :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea but i got confused cause the f in the equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The f(x) just means the Function of x.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the f is confusing, so my teacher just told me to replace it with y like this here y = 3x-2 i think thats easier well for me it is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you just have to find y when x is -1. thats it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah you could do that, you guys could even do something like m(n) but it would mean the same thing as f(x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

m(n) means m is the function of n

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you guys soo much that was very helpful i understand i now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no problem @glamourglory :)
