well I'm writing a research paper on the Space Race and the political, social, and economic impacts it had on the US

Social: the space technology gave Americans great morale-boosting social benefits. It also had an impact on the community as a whole, most were for the exploration of space, for different reasons, and others were not. This caused a slight split in the community.
Economic: There was a great impact on the economy. It opened more job opportunities for engineers and scientists. It also caused an increase in taxes, though, to raise the funds for the technological equipment.
Political:The space race impacted the United States politically because it created a competition between countries.

that's what I want to turn into a thesis... well the main ideas of those points
