Why did some members of the US Congress oppose the annexation of Texas? a- They did not want to admit another free state to the Union. b- They did not want to anger Mexico by going against a treaty. c- They did not want to take control of Texas from Mexico. d-They did not want to support US President Sam Houston. *i have 9 more that i keep getting wrong*
