Which sentence uses a verb that agrees with its pronoun subject? A. One of Clive's nicest shirts were made in London. B. Very few of the soups on this menu sound appetizing to me. C. Neither of the twins have signed up for the pottery class. D. Everybody are having a good time at the picnic.

OpenStudy (inowalst):

What do you think?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk i see a, b and c as a possible awnser

OpenStudy (inowalst):

Well D for sure is out because it should be "Everybody is.." not 'are'

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok ill see

OpenStudy (inowalst):

Well A, it says "One of.....were" that's incorrect because 'one' is singular so it should be 'was' and not 'were'

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think its c

OpenStudy (inowalst):
