Cartesian vector form for one...see pic MEDAL - always
F_1 = ?
F_1 = F_1{ + (3/5)j + [?]k} N
@iGreen. @sleepyjess @zepdrix @waterineyes @isnewton
For F1, we can see from the picture that it doesn't go out in the x direction. So I would say that that vector has the form <0,4,3>
Okay...I need an equation. Maybe I can't make one from what you said because I don't understand vectors thoughly, but I still need an eq
\[\Large\rm \vec F_1=\left<0,4,3\right>\]\[\Large\rm \vec F_1=0\hat i + 4\hat j + 3\hat k\]\[\Large\rm ||\vec F_1||=5\]
F_1 = F_1{ + (3/5)j + [?]k} I just don't know what to put *k
I don't understand your notation. Are you trying to get a unit vector in the direction of F1? \[\Large\rm \hat F_1=||\vec F_1||\left(0\hat i + \frac{4}{5}\hat j + \frac{3}{5}\hat k\right)\]
This diagram is so confusing.. is this from a book or something? ugh
Ya, the reviews of the textbook are pelletty
