Read this paragraph from http://www.mrdowling.com/706-americaresponds.html "The war had many unexpected consequences. Virtually every young man was fighting overseas, and factories needed workers to supply the soldiers. Women left their homes and joined the workforce for the first time. The military remained segregated during the war, but black soldiers served the nation with bravery and courage. The valor and heroism of these patriots were a factor in the eventual desegregation of the armed forces after the war, and played a key role in the beginning of the American Civil Rights movement. Finally, the government provided low cost loans to the soldiers when they returned home from the war. Many impoverished Americans had the opportunity to attend college and start businesses. The war offered new opportunities for many Americans for the first time in history." After reading that ^ What answer choice can you eliminate?
And you know that during World War 2, United States sent Japanese into concentration camps in fear that they might fight on Japan's side. And you know that United States only move Japanese into these camps. Not Germans and Italians. And they did not deport them. They relocated them into camps. So what answer choice does that eliminate?
Also think about that United States doesn't stop anyone from protesting as long as it is non violent and peaceful. So they would never make a law against protesting, especially since we have free speech. So what answer can we eliminate with this information?
So @ashy98 What do you think our final answer is now? :)
