Well...a SmartCoin automatically goes to your profile...and it depends on your smart score (aka ss). If you have a low ss, say 15, and you get a medal, your ss will noticeably go up. However, your ss is already 57, so me giving you a medal increases your ss, but you'll need multiple medals to raise it by one.
