OpenStudy (maryfitzgerald14):

how many fans do you have to have to get your smartscore higher than a 100% smartscore how can you get it past 100 % of a smart score

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Actually, getting a ss higher than 100 is not possible. XD

OpenStudy (maryfitzgerald14):

so there is no such thing as a 100 ss

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

There can only be one person that has a ss of 100, and that is @satellite73

OpenStudy (maryfitzgerald14):

ok so how many smart scores can i only get

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

It depends on what SubScore you focus on. If you look at mine, my highest SubScore is in Problem Solving, and I have an 80 for that,

OpenStudy (maryfitzgerald14):

whats my sub score how do i look at my subscore

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Okay...there are 3 subscores. Problem Solving -You can raise this Subscore by getting testimonials, fans, and by helping people. Teamwork -You can raise this SubScore by answering questions and getting medals for your answers. Engagement -You can raise this SubScore by Asking Questions, getting medals on your own thread, and being online.

OpenStudy (maryfitzgerald14):

but what if i dont know the answer to that persons question what should i do

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

You can see them by clicking on your username, and do you see the 3 circles next to your ss?

OpenStudy (maryfitzgerald14):

yes

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Those are your SubScores, and your highest is in the Teamwork category.

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Your weak point is Problem Solving. :)

OpenStudy (maryfitzgerald14):

im not that good at problem solving i need help, helping that person if they needed help with problem solving what should i do

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Well, if that's your weak point, then that's okay, you don't need to do it if you don't want to. :)

OpenStudy (maryfitzgerald14):

ok thanks and how can i help someone if i like science or writting and i like helping people

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Quite simply, you can help guide the asker to his/her answer. X)

OpenStudy (maryfitzgerald14):

ok thanks and i gave you another medal

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Oh, and don't give direct answers. :D

OpenStudy (maryfitzgerald14):

ok thanks i wont

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Here's just a random but good example that I did earlier: http://openstudy.com/users/eclipsedstar#/updates/54de883ce4b0bd4ff5b71d30

OpenStudy (maryfitzgerald14):

us talking right now is that a score for being engaged

OpenStudy (maryfitzgerald14):

and i g2g

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Yes, that is counted in the Engagement category :)

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Have a nice night! :)

OpenStudy (maryfitzgerald14):

you to ttyl

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Also, don't forget to close the question! :)

OpenStudy (maryfitzgerald14):

bye talk to you tomorrow

OpenStudy (leader):

It would take like almost a million fans.

OpenStudy (leader):

And I doubt a million users would fan for nothing. The person with the most fans is @satellite73 and he has 4,100 fans.

OpenStudy (leader):

Good luck anyhoot!
