A field bet in craps occurs when a player places a bet on a single roll of the dice. If you roll a 3, 4, 9, 10, or 11, you win your bet If you roll a 2, you win twice your bet If you roll a 12, you win three times your bet If you roll a 5, 6, 7,or 8 you lose your bet. For each roll you're rolling two dice, so "rolling a 7" means any combination of dice that adds to 7. Also, when you "win" your bet, you are always given back the original amount you bet, plus additional earnings.
For example, if you place down one chip as your bet, and a 9 is rolled, you get that 1 chip back plus one new chip in winnings. You make 100 consecutive field bets, and put two chips down for each bet. Your expected winnings by the end of these 100 bets is: A. lose 10 chips B. lose 6 chips C. lose 2 chips D. win 2 chips E. win 5 chips
@ganeshie8 when i tried calculating this I got that it was losing 5 chips so I'm not sure what I did wrong
