I understand how the ftoc works.. but I am having trouble starting the problem. I am not sure if this problem uses u substitution, or I use the power rule when finding the anti derivative ..

OpenStudy (zarkon):

\[\frac{d}{dx}\int\limits_{g_1(x)}^{g_2(x)}f(t)dt=f(g_2(x))g'_2(x)-f(g_1(x))g'_1(x)\]

so I should just plug in the numbers in there without using u sub or power rule?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks! solved it
