A = amplitude
B = Speed
C = phase at midnight
D = chart datum

I can't understand your question but the reason for trigonometric graph is because of the sine function, whatever your values of B and C, note that the sine function returns values in the interval

\[y \in \left[ -1,1 \right]\]
