May u help me grade my homework to make sure all is right?
yeah i think i can
Choose the equation below that represents the line passing through the point (2, -5) with a slope of -3. y = -3x - 13 y = -3x + 11 y = -3x + 13 y = -3x + 1
u which grade
And what did you get as the asnwer?
Answer*
d :)
D is correct :D
If f(x) is the total number of bacteria present in a sample after x hours, which of the following statements best describes the meaning of f(2) = 12? The total number of bacteria present in the sample after 12 hours is 2. The total number of bacteria present in the sample after 6 hours is 2. The total number of bacteria present in the sample after 2 hours is 12. The total number of bacteria present in the sample after 6 hours is 12.
c.
Correct :)
If f(x) = x - 4, what does f(3) represent? The value of (x - 4) when x = 3 The value if x when (x - 4) = 3 The value of 3f(x) when x = 3 The value of f(x) when (x - 4) = 3
a?
Correct!
Good job so far :)
Which of the following statements best describes the effect of replacing the graph of f(x) with the graph of f(x) - 3? The graph shifts 3 units up. The graph shifts 3 units down. The graph shifts 3 units left. The graph shifts 3 units right.
b.( i will repost my other questions in a few)
Correct once again :)
@Kainui
why do we need him @American.Eagle
How many questions are in your homework? @heymydearpeople
sorry i did mistake
ummm.... hold on let me check i have to count lol
Its ok, me and Kai are friends :) Anyhoot :P
30 srry @TheSmartOne
Is this a test? o.O
but i do not think i will need help w. all of them :D, no a review packet for school
Ok sure then :)
The equation of a line is shown below: y = - fraction reading 1 over 3 x - 24 What is the equation of a line which is perpendicular to this line and passes through (1, 27) y = 3x - 24 y = 7x - 24 y = 7x + 24 y = 3x + 24
c o.d confuse about this one @TheSmartOne
Like this? \[\Large y=-\frac{ 1 }{ 3x} -24\]
Well when they say that a line is perpendicular, then that means the slopes when you multiply them it equals to -1.
ok @TheSmartOne
So for example \(\Large y= \frac{1}{2}x +3\) Then To find the slope that is perpendicular to it \(\Large\frac{1}{2} \times p = -1\)
And you solve for p to get the perpendicular line :)
can anyone help me. i have a ques to ask. but the ques requires a lot of drawings so thats y it can be posted on openstudy. tell me ur gmail adress and i will email the ques to u and then u can help me. please its midnight in my country and tommorow i have to submit the homework. in my country if u dont do the homework then u get a lot of beatings from the teacher. even i will get beatings. please help me i beg u. i fall on ur feet. i will never forget ur he;p in my life
p=-2
@TheSmartOne
Option C is incorrecct for the bacteria problem
@heymydearpeople That was for the example. Your actual question is :P \(\Large y=-\frac{ 1 }{ 3x} -24\)
wait nevermind
oh
you're doing good!
^ :D
may you help me w. solving for x that is quite confusing to me srry @TheSmartOne
y=mx+b m is the slope :) So they gave us that -1/3 is the slope. So to find the perpendicular slope. We have to find a number when you multiply it by -1/3 it equals to -1
