Write a statement that is logically equivalent to the statement below. Demonstrate it is logically equivalent by citing evidence to justify your statement: If today is a weekday, then it is not Saturday. original -> if p then q logically equivalent( contrapositive) -> if not q then not p logically equivalant statement: If it's Saturday, then today isn't a weekday.
is that good enough? @Directrix
@Leader :)
I guess :)
Well anything you do is perfect, so... :)
lol thanks :) @Leader
If today is a weekday, then it is not Saturday. p: today is a weekday q: today is Saturday original -> if p then ~ q The contrapositive is logically equivalent to the original statement. Contraposite: If NOT ~ q, the ~ p. If q, then not p. If today is Saturday, then then today is not a weekday.
thanks @Directrix :)
What does this mean you are to do: Demonstrate it is logically equivalent by citing evidence to justify your statement:
;)
What is the evidence?
evidence ? @Leader o.O ?
the link is my question lol
I can't get the link to open for some reason.
it's my current question @Directrix xD
Haha. Took you guys a while to figure it out ;)
xD pfftttt not really @Leader
How long is it going to take for you to deliver the evidence? @Leader :)
it really took a while -_- @Leader
@Directrix They usually give me a week in court. But I don't think @Godlovesme has that much time. ;P
hahahahaha :') lol
@Godlovesme I am thinking that the evidence is/are the steps I wrote in explaining how to get the contrapositive from the original statement. I don't know what else it could be.
that makes sense :) thanks guys @Directrix and @Leader (TsO) ;)
Np :)
