just join this dont know what is it ????

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Its for \(\LaTeX\) practicing :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(\Huge\color{blue}{This\ is\ \LaTeX}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do i do latex could you help me @AnswerMyQuestions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, first, you start with `\( at the beginning, and at the end, you use \)`

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So say something inside that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(pizza\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Now for sizes...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do i do the size ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hold on, let me tell you all the sizes...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(\tiny{tiny}\) \(\scriptsize{scriptsize}\) \(\small{small}\) \(\normalsize{normalsize}\) \(\large{large}\) \(\Large{Large}\) \(\LARGE{LARGE}\) \(\huge{huge}\) \(\Huge{Huge}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So those are the names of the sizes and how big they are.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To put them in your LaTeX, you do `\(\Huge{Hello!}\)`, which gives you \(\Huge{Hello!}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Cool \(\large{HI}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

know how to do color?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And to copy the LaTeX to see what code people used, you can right click on the LaTeX, and click on "Show Math As" and then click "Tex Commands", and it will give you the code.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OHH THATS SO COOL!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, but it doesn't have the `\( at the beginning or \)` at the end, so you will have to add those in yourself.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And there are many colors you can use, and you put them in like this: `\(\Huge\color{blue}{Hello!}\)`, which gives you \(\Huge\color{blue}{Hello!}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cool so \(\Huge\color{pink}{Hey'o}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats so cool

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There are a lot of fonts also...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(\Huge\color{red}{You're }\) \(\Huge\color{red}{ the }\) \(\Huge\color{red}{best}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, I just messed up.. lol let me delete that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oops, did the same thing. o.o

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol its ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im trying to copy all of this down so i know how to do it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

done anything else i should know?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sf > \(\Huge\sf{Hello!}\) tt > \(\Huge\tt{Hello!}\) it > \(\Huge\it{Hello!}\) bf > \(\Huge\bf{Hello!}\) rm > \(\Huge\rm{Hello!}\) cal > \(\Huge\cal{Hello!}\) < My favorite :D scr > \(\Huge\scr{Hello!}\) frak > \(\Huge\frak{Hello!}\) mathbb > \(\Huge\mathbb Hello!\) boldsymbol > \(\Huge\boldsymbol Hello!\) To put them in your LaTeX, they are just like the sizes: `\(\Huge\cal\color{blue}{Hello!}\)`, which gives you \(\Huge\cal\color{blue}{Hello!}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Those are the names of the fonts and what they look like, but for the last 2 fonts, you don't need these brackets: { } around the text.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok good to know

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So we're pretty much done.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Unless... You want to learn complex stuff... like the box...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thxs for you help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(\bbox [10pt, blue, border:5pt solid black]{\Huge\cal\color{white}{\bigstar\ AnswerMyQuestions\ \bigstar}}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

THATS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Here is the code: `\bbox [10pt, blue, border:5pt solid black]{\Huge\cal\color{white}{\bigstar\ AnswerMyQuestions\ \bigstar}}`

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, and I forgot to tell you. You can also make shapes in LaTeX.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Like `\(\Huge\bigstar\)` and `\(\Huge\heartsuit\)` and `\(\Huge\spadesuit\)` which give you \(\Huge\bigstar\) and \(\Huge\heartsuit\) and \(\Huge\spadesuit\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ugh, and I forgot, you can use ~ to make spaces in LaTeX.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so that is how to space ~

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@AnswerMyQuestions is latex only for this site or is it for all

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can use LaTeX on this site, but some other sites may let you use LaTeX, but not many. :P
