Hi have a question it is what kind of lesson plan would you do with age 4-5 and it has music and movement and I need to make sure it have materials with it
Telling stories with the music and having the children act out the story, children love to take the roles and act the story out. An example is having the children be the mice or cats, and sing a song like Ex: "The little cat is sleeping, sleeping, sleeping, in the house.. the little mice are creeping, creeping in the house. The little cat is snoring, snoring, snoring, the little cat is snoring in the house. The little mice are nibbling nibbling nibbling in the house, the cat is waking up up up!, The little mice go scrambling, scrambling scrambling out the house!" The children acts out the parts to the song, they love that. Another way is to have the children sit in a circle, and as the teacher sings out different things about characteristics about they children, the get up and dance in the circle. Things like "whoever has brown hair", etc. This would be played with a simple and recitative guitar riff. Generally try to incorporate particular hand dances, balances dances, etc. It's a good way to get their fine motor skills and balance incorporated into music time, as well as both fast paces and slow paced dancing! :~)
i work at a preschool
How can I look up stuff on a computer.
Google search
What would I put when Igoogle it
Early childhood development music, movement and music for preschool age, waldorf music... .etc
What do you do when you search for stuff
I having a hard time trying to find a lesson plan that is easy
How large is your group of kids? Are you going to be playing music for them live, or hiring a music teacher to come in? Are you going to have interactive instrument time? Music time shouldnt be hard. Are you planning on playing music from a machine for the children? You probably will have to organize your own lesson plan, but there are thousands of good childrens songs out there. All you have to do is start playing and the kids will take up the rest.
I have to show this to my class in college
