{6n cos (n*pi)}

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Determine whether the sequence converges or diverges. If it converges, find the limit

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[a_n= 6n \cos(n*\pi)\]

freckles!

OpenStudy (freckles):

Isn't this the same sequence from the other day?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im always happy to see your on! anyway, I know that cos oscillates between -1 and 1. just like we discussed the other day. what I dont get is how multiplication changes the answer here

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont think so, cuz this is a new assignment.. unless he is tripping me up

OpenStudy (freckles):

it doesn't it still oscillates except it ocsillates between -inf and inf

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OMG! He is tripping me up! .... wow. I guess something about this question gets me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

did we go over one with ln in it too?

OpenStudy (freckles):

I don't recall that but I definitely recall this one :p

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok. Im gonna post the ln one then, because i can just look back at what we talked about with this one later
