What 1942-1943 battle over the namesake Soviet city on the Volga river is considered the turning point of World War II? Battle of Poltava Battle of Stalingrad Battle of Warsaw Battle of Narva

OpenStudy (inowalst):

I have no idea.

JoelTheBoss (joel_the_boss):

Stalingrad has been described as the biggest defeat in the history of the German Army. It is often identified as the turning point on the Eastern Front, and in the war against Germany overall, and even the greatest turning point in the Second World War. Hope this helps. :)

OpenStudy (inowalst):

Oh okay, thank you!

JoelTheBoss (joel_the_boss):

Your welcome! :D

OpenStudy (leonardo0430):
