First I'll find centroid

The ring has a centriod at the center 3 inches from top The vertical section has it at 9 inches form the top The horizontal section has it at 13 inches from the top now you can model these as point masses and calculate the center of mass right?
This is not that simple X(bar)=Y(bar)= 4R/3pi
