puerile : mature :: A. fraternal : brotherly B. uxorious : masculine C. innate : essential D. moribund : lively E. familial : marriageable

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which set of words has the same relationship as puerile : mature :: ?

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Hi! Do you have any ideas so far?

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

You can cross out D and E.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh I was thinking D. Since Moribund means dead and Lively means alive and Puerile is childish and mature is adult

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't really think it could be B.

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Well, D would be incorrect because moribund and lively are not exactly the same...puerile and mature are explaining the same thing but different times...wow this is hard to explain...I think I need @Conqueror and @King.Void. 's opinions. XD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How are they explaining the same thing at different times? Their different in definition...but are you talking about age wise or something? XD

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Yes... XD lol sorry my thinking is quite out of the roof today XD

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Ok...if they're not replying.... @inowalst and @Joel_the_boss are great at english too :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha it's okay and oh I see well if they don't come on this question too it's okay I'll just research more. I'll give you a medal for helping me. :D

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Ohhh I get it now! :0

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

It's asking for which has the same relationship.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes :D

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

So...the one that you thought was incorrect earlier actually makes the most sense...XD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah that's what I was thinking haha the others don't really have an opposite relationship and they also don't really relate to each other at all in the opposite relationship puerile and mature have.

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Yes.. :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah. Yay!!! I'll tell you if it's right or not after I check it with my mom thanks for the help! :3

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Np! :)
