Just calculate the volume of each cube and ad it up.

volume of total cube=sum of volume of 2 individuals cube volume of one cube=|dw:1424204080365:dw| but from the figure in the question both the figyres r exactly same so total volume=2 multiply volume of one cube =|dw:1424204216297:dw| so option 3 correct
