Help please
@misty1212
Omg thanks for being here :D @misty1212
HI!!
what do you need help with? you are supposed to plug in a bunch of numbers use a calculator
I did that that is in the document. Here is what I have- 4. a. x 100 + 23x 90(1.2x) 0 100 90 2 146 129.6 3 169 155.5 4 192 186.6 5 215 223.9 b. Approximately between x=4 and x=5 so when x=4.5 both functions will have the same value. Because, m(x) goes from being smaller than s(x), to larger than s(x) between x=4 and x=5, so somewhere in that interval of numbers, both functions must intersect and have the same value. c. d. The x axis= the week #, week 0 (initial value through week 5 The y value represents the # of organisms present. So each point on the graph (x,y)= (week #, population of organisms) e. To determine the solution from the graph, I have to estimate the intersection point (x,y). f. I need help on C and F
DO i choose the plot one and copy it or no ?
so there are two points where both lines intersect ????
I thought so but I'm still not 100% sure wait do I need to put this in desmos?
but what are the points? like I have to show them so in desmos how do i do this

i guess so, i used wolfram
looks like about \(4.43\) http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=100%2B23x%3D90%281.2%29%5Ex
wait so its right?
you don't want the negative answer, you want the positive one take a look at the link i sent
ahhh so
that would be c right
ohh okay so i used desmos to graph this that's why .................... i had tooo zooooooooO.Oooooooooooooooooom out to see the other intersection points :'/
alright so to clarify XD That is the one i put for c right ? SO now we can do F lol ok @Nnesha
best of luck!! @Sparklestaraa if i work like this like previous 2 hour i'll probably get medal in real life :D :PD bye :P :D
XD haha true u would :P I would love to give u a million @Nnesha
nope i'm not saying for that medal i mean we r almost on right tra k like if i work hard in real life :P :Dlol
@misty1212 thanks for wolfram but pretty complicated to use that
for part C u need both intersection point
Lol i know :P but i was giving u one anyway :P Yes u have to pay to almost use wolfram alpha. :D WAIT hold on xD Are there 2 points of intersection xD
IS this what i need to put for C?
nope both points where lines intersect
ahhh ok so can we go f @Nnesha
yes wo now we need positive order pair which is ( 4.43 , 201.960)
:) ok :)
so what do we need to do?
y represent number of organism
Well i think what is best is to take the points like what are the numbers for the points and then describe what they refer too. Because I still only understood the picture of C not what the actual points are
@Nnesha
for example like this both order pair have x and y values |dw:1424229508008:dw| oaky so two times lines intersect both have x and y values
