Explain how the burning of rain forest leads to increased atmospheric carbon dioxide levels in two ways.

Think of it this way: You breath in oxygen and breathe out carbon dioxide. A tree breathes in carbon dioxide and exhales the Oxygen. If I decide to be a go happy lumberjack in a rainforest and cut down trees, what happens to our oxygen? What happens when we breathe out carbon dioxide?

@prguan Also, trees use carbon, like all life, in essentially every chemical aspect of its cells. Fire burns up something and produces water and carbon dioxide among other things. So, what will be released when trees are burned>
