I need to create a TV program for TV + Ad schedule Basically it displays Tv a portion of the time and every so often there is a break for a couple of commercials. I would like to create a program for 45 commercials per hr. Each commercial is 30 seconds long ... SO program plays ads approximately 22.50 minutes of the hr
hahah @Kainui im just venting
I wasn't even reading lol
45 commercials per hour? O_o I hope each commercial is a second long then.
Each commercial is 30 seconds long -.-
I know. haha What is your question exactly wanting us to do?
I need to create it in the most efficient manner ... Like i dont want the audience to get frustrated soo often
like do you think Longer amt of TV + longer breaks for commercials better then Short amt of TV + Short breaks for commercials???
Like what do you guys prefer???
I prefer no ads at all. :)
hahahaha
Well I know there's some thing like while sitting in lectures that people are focused for the first 30 minutes, then sort of blank out, then they blank out again after like 15 minutes, so you might want to try to put the commercials at completely non regular intervals lol
So... lets say total commercials is for 22.5 minutes then I suppose we can slip it up in to 4 times where there would be an ad break
hahahaha kai
we wouldn't want to bore out the viewers with a 10 minute ad :) But then not interrupt their show 10 times with a 2 minute ad.
ya this is too much for me to decide ... cant make a silly decision like that
Is this an assignment or your actual job? haha
actual job lol
I think once you're in a string of commercials it's not bad, but starting and stopping a lot is super irritating
Ya I think so tooo Gonna try to lengthen them
@Mimi_x3 Now I know who to blame ;)
what is the content of the TV channel? I think that also makes a huge difference.
Like don't most shows already naturally have time cut into it?
Ummm most times its sports
Like the climax of their plots?
or boring news channel
Well do you have any data, surely there is data out there on this
Because usually they have an ad in the middle of the show and at the end of a show and the beginning of the next show
Like I have program / software and we override the TV Meaning we can schedule when to play TV or whtvr the hell we want ... its a digital signage software Like its not like I work for some channel where they actually sell ads for their channel DO you get it?
Hour starts 15 commercials show 15 commercials show 15 commercials show Hour ends Probably best, but this is armchair philosophy so... lol
And that would be like 7 1/2 minutes of ad in the middle. They can take a nap during that time ;)
hmmm maybe ill divide it into 4 cuz no one will look at ads for like 8 minutes straight ... they will kill me especially if its in middle of the playoffs
I got a better ideaP
How about we speed up the ads into 15 seconds?
happy birthday steven.
just make it all adds at the beginning and then the rest of the hour is the show, no problem
You know how when the person is talking like super fast. xD
hahaa thanks
Steven and Aviv share Bdays .. strange
Aviv?
No one knows who Aviv is on here. :P
Yeah Rocky cut it out
hahahaha
rockie? idk whatever. Ok so your tv thing, I guess you can do it that way, 3 or 4. Personally I don't watch tv so like whatever
^ same
The ads never bothered me anyways...
ya i dont either watch TV I wish i had a program which sensed when the actual channel was airing commercials so I can hop along at that point too
I was thinking about staggering it like pascal's triangle like 1 3 3 1 for just like relative weights of breaks with commercials in between
ok pls give it a try :)
Or maybe actually like 3 1 1 3
No one wants long ads during their show
You mean you didnt watch the awesome superbowl commercials?! Shame on you!
Yeah I meant 1,3,3,1 are the relative lengths of show time, I mean "Breaks" from commercials... lol...
Lol @Jhannybean Who watches the superbowl? That is so one month ago.
You can watch them superbowl ads on youtube. ;)
