you need to deeply think what this poem means so it's not for just anyone but it sure is special.

I don’t understand the madness of perfection. It’s a goal strived upon yet leaves you undone Like a baseball made of yarn. We all try and give up And try and give up But we all end in this same collision of imperfection. Because we strive for normality Another concept created by the human mind. In which leaves use voiceless And useless in our minds. So we create these pictures of how life should go But instead we end up 6ft under the snow. Suffocated by barriers we placed around ourselves. Hoping to look the part. But instead we find ourselves dead… Because we used ourselves and abused ourselves. It was never the world who neglected our favor It was us… No, it was me demeaning myself. Saying what other people had said As if I could read their minds. And that’s where self-destruction comes from. The thoughts that would never rhyme.

@Crissy15 idk if u saw the added part and also im not quite sure what u mean

OpenStudy (crissy15):

lol , I'm a deep thinker, I sometimes over think so yea lol and no I didn't see the other part

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Crissy15 so what were u thinking than lol

OpenStudy (crissy15):

I'm still thinking and then I know I'll get more puzzled, so right now I think what the poems saying is that perfection is not needed because nobody's perfect and in the added part it then says it wasn't anyone else trying to be perfect, it was ourselves hurting and we were just destroying ourselves, idk I have to write down the meaning revise like a hundred times till my brain says that'sexactly what it means

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Crissy15 it about how perfection and normality are both concepts and a lot of the times we blame concepts on society because thats grow up is being told these things but the truth is we were never directly told that we have to be perfect or normal it was the things that we interpreted that made us feel this way. But interpretation is something we made up in our minds so really thats a little bit our fault and not societies. So the truth is we feel like we have to be perfect or normal because were cutting ourselves down more than anyone else.

OpenStudy (crissy15):
