1.What is the perimeter of a square with an area of 64 m2?

OpenStudy (nathaliama13):

A perimeter is the outside of the square. Try adding 64 m^2 two both of the sides of the square. so basically \[64 m^{2} + 64 m^{2} \]

To find the perimeter, you first have to find the side length. Area of a square is s^2 when s is the side length. So \[A=s ^{2}\] Can you plug in the area and use that to find the side length?
