when you type with in \(\LaTeX\) you start with `\(` and end with `\)`

for example when you type `\(HI\)` it comes out as \(HI\) then when you get a little further in you can type things like `\(\huge{HI}\)` it comes out as \(\huge{HI}\) then you get into colors and you can type things like `\(\huge\color{purple}{HI}\)` it comes out as \(\huge\color{purple}{HI}\) you can also place boxes around your text like this `\(\huge\boxed{\color{purple}{HI}}\)` and you can do multiple boxes like this `\(\boxed{\boxed{\boxed{\boxed{\color{purple}{☺☻}}}}}\)`which comes out like this \(\huge\boxed{\boxed{\boxed{\boxed{\color{purple}{☺☻}}}}}\)
