Think of it as looking for x. 12% of 50=x Change the 12% to a fraction. ---> 12/100 Then you will want to put that in parenthesis. The equation will be then... (12/100)*50=x Your going to want to multiply 12*50. The 100 means nothing at this step. Equation will then be... (12*50)/100=x You will want to multiply whats in the parenthesis first. What you get is 600. The new equation will be... 600/100=x Divide 600/100 to get your answer. Ans: 6=x @h1510
