Will someone just explain this to me? MEDAL! You are study for your finial exam of the semester. Up to this point, you received 3 exam scores of 84%, 65%, and 90%. To receive a grade of B in the class, you must have an average exam score between 80% and 89% for all 4 exams including the final. Find the widest range of scores that you can get on the final exam in order to receive a grade of B for the the class. Use Interval notation. A. [78,97] B. [81,100] C. [75,100]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i want to say B but i'm not so positive about it..

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Do you recall the definition of the average of a set of numbers?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kinda. i would say i would look it up but i don't want to rely on the internet for everything .-.

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Then you should find something like a definition in your textbook, right? :-)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i go to an alternative school...we don't have textbooks :( they make us use the internet for EVERYTHING :(

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Alright, no problem. The average of a set of numbers is the sum of the numbers divided by the number of numbers.
