Could a mixture be made up of only elements and no compounds? Explain.

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

I believe so because... Normally if 2 elements are together in anyway, they will react and form a compound. However, if you put two noble gasses together, they are more than likely to not react and remain in their elemental state.

yea, a mixture just means that it's made up of two different species, so it can be anything as long as they're different from each other. You can just make a mixture of nitrogen and oxygen together, they're still in their elemental forms.
