The length of the hypotenuse of a 30-60-90 triangle is 18. What is the perimeter? I have no idea how to start this or how to do this.

OpenStudy (kc_kennylau):

You would flip the triangle along one side to form an equilateral triangle

Would all the sides equal 180?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The options.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the ratio of a 30-60-90 triangle is 1-square root 3 - 2 so if the hypotenuse is 18 (ratio equivalent 2) the other sides are 9 and 9 square root 3. add them up to get the perimeter which would be 18 9 square root 3.

Thank you!

oops for the answer i meant to put 27 9 square root 3 (i forgot to add the 9 to 18) sorry
