She made 16 free throws in the first game. 44-16 = 28 She made 28 free throws in the second game. If they are asking how many attempts she made, then that would require an extra step. The way I calculated the first answer was: She made 4/5 of 20 free throws; she made 80% of her shots. 80% of 20 is 16.
