I need help with coming up with a metaphor for a summer day.. I think i might have one but I don't think its correct..

I know what a metaphor is. What I kind of came up with is " her smile is a summer day" but thats describing her smile and not summer... Ive asked all of my friends and family and we are all stuck on this.

Well think about something more specific such as  food, activities, show etc. etc.
