Which equation represents the graph of the linear function?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You have two points given (-3,0) and (0,-2) use these points to find out the slope then use the formula (y1-y) = (x1-x) * slope to find the equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a.y=-3/2x-2 b.y=-3/2x+2 y=-2/3x-2 y=3/2x-2 I think its c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(x1,y1) = (-3,0) (x2,y2) = (0,-2) slope = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) equation - (y1 - y) = (x1-x)* slope

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the slope is (2,3) am i right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[slope = \frac{ (y_2 - y_1) }{ (x_2 - x_1) }\] \[slope = \frac{ (-2 - 0) }{ (0 - (-3)) }\] \[slope = \frac{ -2 }{ 3 }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

forgot to put negative

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but otherwise i am right

thank you
