What do biologists, geologists, and physicists have in common, how are they different?

Returning the favor. I am no expert but biologists, geologists and physicists are the same in that they are interested in and study the physical world. They are different in the sense that their field of study differs. A biologist studies living things, a geologist studies the earth and a physicist studies matter and physical effects. Does that help?
