solve sinx+1=cosx

OpenStudy (loser66):

sin - cos =-1 square both sides -2sin cos =0 sin =0 or cos =0 you do the rest, ok?

OpenStudy (jhannybean):

@Jackie.torres87 can you solve therest?

OpenStudy (jhannybean):

The only step @Loser66 skipped over, that you may want to reference, is:\[(\sin(x)-\cos(x))^2 = \color{red}{\sin^2(x)} -2\sin(x)\cos(x)\color{red}{+\cos^2(x)} = -2\sin(x)\cos(x)\color{red}{+1}\]
