Geometry help please! Will fan and medal!! Are the two triangles below similar? Triangles STU and VWX are shown. Angle S equals 28 degrees, Angle T equals 70 degrees, Angle W equals 70 degrees, Angle X equals 92 degrees, side ST equals 8, side WX equals 4, side VX equals 10.

Yes; they have congruent corresponding angles Yes; they have proportional corresponding sides No; they do not have proportional corresponding sides No; they do not have congruent corresponding angles

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

Find the Angle of U and V. If V != s and x != U they are not similar.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The sum of all interior angles in a triangle must be 180. So if you can find the missing angle in both triangles, you will find the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, for the smaller triangle, the missing angle would be 82. and for the larger triangle, the missing angle would be 18.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Would this make the answer A?

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

So they are not equal the two triangles are not similar.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh ok, so it's D then thank you

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

You are welcome.
