Cos question

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

ok so solve for cos... because of the domain, \[2 \cos(\theta) = 1~~so~~~\cos(\theta) = \frac{1}{2}\] find the angle you need the 1st quadrant and 4th quadrants 1st quadrant its \[1st ~quarant = \theta~~~~~4th ~quadrant~ = (360 - \theta)\]

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

do you have a detailed link that explains this stuff? i don't think i even learned this yet..

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

have a look at these online notes http://tutorial.math.lamar.edu/ they are well written with plenty of examples... sorry I didn't get the specific trig stuff... but its in there

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

oh yeah, i see them. i'll look at them right now, thanks.
