Find the rate of change represented by the graph. https://roads.advancedacademics.com/contentserver/content/roadssection/70756/image006.gif A. 1500; every 1500 seconds the balloon rises 1 ft. B. 75; the balloon rises 75 ft every second. C. 20; the balloon rises 20 ft every second. D. 20; every 20 seconds the balloon rises 1.5 ft. I think its D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you were given JUST the graph, then D would make sense visually

OpenStudy (cenaida):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Welcome - this is such a nice mental break from the Calc II I'm doing at the moment :)

OpenStudy (cenaida):

Wow! If this is hard for me i cant imagine how hard Calc II is!

OpenStudy (triciaal):

rate of change is the slope of the line. compare how the dependent variable changes as the independent variable changes over the same period

OpenStudy (triciaal):

math just take practice and you are learning this as the foundation for higher level work. same principle as learning to crawl before you can walk then run. you were not born eating steak and potatoes higher level math is fun (sad when it is forgotten) keep practicing!!
