Confusion By Kenneth Rexroth I pass your home in a slow vermilion dawn, The blinds are drawn, and the windows are open. The soft breeze from the lake Is like your breath upon my cheek. All day long I walk in the intermittent rainfall. I pick a vermilion tulip in the deserted park, What is the meaning of this poem and how does it connect to the title?
What have you understood or percieved from this poem? :3
I think it about a person who is expressing his love for someone.
Well then, ask yourself: why would there be a sense of "confusion"? what could have caused this? :3
He is probably confused to why his lover doesn't like him back.
There seems to be something more... is this the entire poem?
Almost forgot, this is the rest of the poem Bright raindrops cling to its petals. At five o'clock it is a lonely color in the city. I pass your home in a rainy evening, I can see you faintly, moving between lighted walls. Late at night I sit before a white sheet of paper, Until a fallen vermilion petal quivers before me.
@pooja195 do you maybe know??? worth a shot to ask

Have you attempted to figure it out? If so let me know what you think is the meaning of the peom so i know if your right or wrong also your meaning of the poem can be diffrent from what i think there isnt a right or wrong answer but let me know
I think its about a person who is expressing his love to someone.
theres more than that why do you think hes expressing his feelings?
He likes that person but he/she doesn't acknowledge him or sees that he exists
Yes! There we go so what you can write is : This poem is about a man who is deeply in love with a woman but she does not doesn't acknowledge him or sees that he exists
How does the title "Confusion" relate to the poem?
Maybe the man is confused why the woman is not acknowledging him.
Alright Thanks
What does the last two lines " Late at night I sit before a white sheet of paper, Until a fallen vermilion petal quivers before me" mean?
