The radius of the circle above is 3 in. What is the circumference of the circle? (Use n = 3.14.) 9.42 in 28.26 in 18.84 in 56.52 in

Help! :'(

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

The circumference formula of a circle is \[C=2\Pi r\] So just plug in the numbers and multiply.

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

The radius is 3 inches. So that can be plugged in for r in the formula. N would be Pi. So you plug 3.14 in for pi. So now we have \[2\times3.14\times3\]What do you get when you do that math @Sunnyo

OpenStudy (anonymous):

18.84

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

You got it! Great job :D
