pooja195 (pooja195):
\[C=2πr\]
pooja195 (pooja195):
divide 18/2 to get the radius
pooja195 (pooja195):
and plug it into the formula

9
OpenStudy (k_lynn):
Around the rim would mean to find the circumference. And we went over what that formula was which was \[C=2\Pi r\]But you know the diameter which is DOUBLE the radius. You'll need to divide the diameter by 2.
pooja195 (pooja195):
@Sunnyo now plug it in
OpenStudy (k_lynn):
Yep, the radius is 9. We also know what pi is. So we just plug the numbers into the equation.
\[2\times3.14\times9\]
pooja195 (pooja195):
\[C=2π(9)\]

\[\Pi=3.14\]
\[r=radius=9\]
