@k_lynn

pooja195 (pooja195):

\[C=2πr\]

pooja195 (pooja195):

divide 18/2 to get the radius

pooja195 (pooja195):

and plug it into the formula

OpenStudy (anonymous):

9

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

Around the rim would mean to find the circumference. And we went over what that formula was which was \[C=2\Pi r\]But you know the diameter which is DOUBLE the radius. You'll need to divide the diameter by 2.

pooja195 (pooja195):

@Sunnyo now plug it in

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

Yep, the radius is 9. We also know what pi is. So we just plug the numbers into the equation. \[2\times3.14\times9\]

pooja195 (pooja195):

\[C=2π(9)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

56.52

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

\[\Pi=3.14\] \[r=radius=9\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well they said what i was gonna say

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

Yep @Sunnyo You got it! :D Great job!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you! :')

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

You're Welcome. :)

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

Someone needs to slap this cheeky grin off my face. lol. I just love it when I help someone :D
