um wait a moment let me do my calculations

OpenStudy (anonymous):

um wait almost i need one more step hello @amandaleonhardt

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

\[\large 2000(1 - 0.0375)^8\]

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Just remember the exponential decay function \[\large a(1 - r)^x\] r would be the rate (in decimal form) 'a' would be the starting value, and 'x' will be the amount of time past (in years)
