ahh my teacher hasnt taught me the washer method??? im so confused cause this is a practice problem for my exam tomorrow, and i have no idea how to do it, i guess my teacher skippedit, im gonna bring it up to her

you have A = pi * radius of outside ^2 -pi * radius of inside ^2, right? your out side is y =x (or x =y) , hence the radius of out side is (7-y), your in side is y = 0.5x^2, hence the radius of inside is (7-2sqrt y) and the intersection point are 0 and 2
