you have A = pi * radius of outside ^2 -pi * radius of inside ^2, right? your out side is y =x (or x =y) , hence the radius of out side is (7-y), your in side is y = 0.5x^2, hence the radius of inside is (7-2sqrt y) and the intersection point are 0 and 2
