OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is the y-intercept of the plane whose equation is 4x + 5y – z = 20? (Points : 1) (0, 4, 0) (0, 5, 0) (5, 0, 0) (0, 0, 4)

OpenStudy (mchilds15):

Do you know where to start in order to solve this?

OpenStudy (mchilds15):

The three numbers are what you plug in for x , y , and z . So, as stated in the equation, it must equal 20.... So what times 5, (the 5y in the equation, y being the y intercept), equals 20? (If you know your multiples, this part is a piece of cake ;))
