What is the equation of the graphed line?

sammixboo (sammixboo):

Well, do you know the formula y = mx + b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-2x because it goes down two for every one unit it goes sideways

@speedsloth1 thanks :D

sammixboo (sammixboo):

Well, b = the y intercept which is where the line crosses the x axis, which is 0, so b = 0 Now the m = the slope. Find the slope (which was given above -2) and plug it in, so m = -2 That's all we need Plug in m and b in this equation y = mx + b y = -2x + 0 y = -2x

Thanks :D @sammixboo
