   okay you have to distribute the parathesis so 6(2x-11) is  12x - 66 +15= 3x+12 
and than you combine like terms the x so you subtract 3 on both side 

12x-66+15=3x+12 
-3x              -3x

9x-66+15=12
    +66        +66
9x+15=78
    -15   -15 

9x=63
/9x  /9x

x=7
