Which word in the sentence, if any, should be followed by a comma? The tide is very low which is typical for this time of day. A. There is no error in comma usage. B. typical C. tide D. low

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, first off, we know it can't be B or C.

The easiest way to tell where the comma would go is to try to put a comma between the words. If you would put a comma after typical, it wouldn't sound right. Also if you would put a comma after tide, it wouldn't sound right either. Right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I meant after the words. Not between.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so d?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, it looks like it'll be D.
