The line that passes through (-1, -3) and (2, 1) what is it in standard form?? so confusing

OpenStudy (welshfella):

first find the slope of the line if the points are (x1,y1) and (x2, y2) the slope is (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)

OpenStudy (welshfella):

so if we let (x1,y1) = (-1,3) and (x2,y2) = (2 , 1) plug these values into the above formula for the slope and simplify to get the value of the slope
